When she woke up from her nap we went for a walk. Scott went with us. We put Adia in her stroller, without any complaint and off we went. We walked 2.5 miles. Adia babbled during the beginning of the walk, but she fell silent towards the end. We got back home and when I lifted the sun shade, Adia was fast asleep. I guess she doesn't mind the stroller so much anymore. Scott carried Adia, stroller and all, up the stairs. She stayed asleep in the stroller for another 15 minutes. She was a happy baby when she woke up. It was sweet since she normally wakes up a total grump.
We played for a bit, then she sat next to me on the couch and watched me type. That didn't last long though. She wanted to jump so back in the jumperoo she went. Since she was occupied jumping, I made some cupcakes. It's rare that she'll play on her own long enough for me to do something like that, but she's getting better. It helped that Scott was still home and in the same room with her. She doesn't panic quite so much.
After the cupcakes were done, it was time to take Scott to work. Adia talked most of the way in the car and was happy to get out of the car seat to meet some new people. Everyone was amazed at how big she's getting. She fell asleep on our way home again. She was still drowsy when I got her out of the car, but ended up wide awake by the time we got in the house. I couldn't get her to go back to sleep, she wanted to play instead.
We played on the floor for quite awhile. She practiced sitting up, which she's almost completely mastered. Then, to my surprise, she fell on her back and rolled across the living room. My girl can roll! She was rolling everywhere until I got out the camera to film it. Then she just laid on her back like a tipped turtle. I eventually gave up because she started freaking out and wanted nothing to do with laying down.

Trying to roll
She soon let me know that she was hungry and tired. She ate 4oz and passed out in my lap. Her nightly ritual of a before dinner catnap. She slept for over a hour and would have slept longer if I hadn't closed my phone too loudly and woken her. She woke up screaming, as usual. I felt awful and for the longest time I couldn't get her to calm down. It was so sad.

Clinging to mommy
Dinner wasn't so bad tonight, except Adia was still extremely clingy from being awakened so rudely. I had to make my food (not much of a big deal, it was Lean Cuisine) and her food while holding her. She screamed when I put her in the high chair, but was quickly sidetracked with toys. Tonight I made her oatmeal with about a teaspoon of sweet potatoes in it. She "ate" the whole bowl. Well.. it was all gone, but she was thoroughly covered and so was my hand. I think she actually kept a bunch in. The crazy part though is I have to fill the spoon then give it to her. Otherwise she refuses to open her mouth. After awhile she would play with one spoon while I fed her with the other. It worked pretty well. She even got mad at me when I'd stop to eat my food.
Bath time was interesting. She was still being clingy so it didn't last long. She did play with her cups a lot and attempt to eat them. She caught any of them that floated by. She got a little fussy when I lotioned her up and dressed her, but once I picked her up, she had both arms around my neck again. She started drink from her bottle, but in the middle of it decided she wanted to play instead. She stood in my lap for a bit, talking most of the time. She even talked on the phone to my mom. Then she started to get cuddly and tired. She snuggled up against me, finished 5oz and fell asleep. She's now been in the crib since 8:30. Maybe she'll sleep well tonight since she actually ate dinner and guzzled a bottle.
