I fed her another bottle and got her to go back to sleep for a little while. Once again, it didn't last long. She was up and ready to play by 9. I tried feeding her breakfast, but she wasn't interested. She ended up crying instead, which made me cry because I was so tired. I took her into the bedroom and Scott took her. He let me sleep for a few hours. I woke up to her screaming though. He let me know that she had screamed nearly constantly the entire time I was asleep. When she saw me though she was all smiles. She was probably confused and had no idea where I was. I eventually got her to take a nap and Scott headed to work.
Once again, she didn't sleep long, but she didn't wake up too grumpy either. I took a shower and she played the entire time, no screaming at all. After my shower I got her dressed in a onesie and some light overalls so we could go for a walk. I couldn't believe the overalls still fit though. They're 0-3 months and are starting to get a little snug, but they still fit over a bulky cloth diaper! She really is tiny. I put her hat on, along with a bunch of sunscreen and we were off. We didn't do the usual walk since it was so hot, but we did walk for 35 minutes. I tried to stay in the shade and made it a leisurely stroll. She played with her chicken and keys until I lowered the sunshade in front of her. Then she was all about the sunshade. She was grabbing it, scratching her nails across it to make noise and eventually eating it. When we got back, she was happy, even though she never napped.
I was hoping I could get her to take her predinner catnap, but she had other plans. She started straining and grunting. Then I smelled it. She always loves to leave presents for mommy. It wasn't too bad to clean, but stinky. She then played on the floor for a bit. As soon as it was 6, she was ready to eat though. I scooped her half a jar of sweet potatoes and noticed we were out if carrots so I mixed some bananas and oatmeal. She finished the sweet potatoes, but was in a "grab the spoon and make a mess" mood. Lately she's been hardly getting food anywhere. She didn't want anything to do with the oatmeal though. She also managed to gag herself with the spoon. Since Scott and I were still trying to eat dinner when she got fussy, he sidetracked her with funny faces and noises so I could finish.

Her bath went really quick. She didn't want to sit, so I laid her down. She had sweet potatoes dried all over her face and up her nose. Once she was cleaned off, it was out of the tub. She just kept staring at Scott like what in the world are you still doing here. She only drank an ounce before passing out so I'm sure it won't last.
