Happy Halloween!

Fall Fun

The girls were dressed so cute today that I wanted to take them outside in the leaves and get a picture of them together. That SOO didn't happen because they prefer running 3 different directions instead or I can get 2 together and the 3rd is off exploring on her own. I need like 5 extra sets of hands. It's crazy.

We're going to the pumpkin patch on Saturday. I can't wait. Adia's been talking about it for weeks too.

Not So Wordless Wednesday

I haven't been taking very many pictures lately. Of course the twins both have croup. Adia went to the doctor last week for a cough and wheezing and "it was just a virus." I guess that's what happens when she doesn't see her regular doctor. The twins actually saw their regular pediatrician and she said that not only do the twins most definitely have croup, but Adia most like had it too and we probably do too. The twins just got the brunt of it because they're so young. We've been spending a lot of time in our steamed up bathroom, going for walks in the cold and we bought a cold mist humidifier. It seems to be working. Mira scared me half to death the first night she woke up cough, wheezing and with a 102.5 degree fever. I honestly thought we'd be going to the ER that night, but the steam and tylenol seemed to help.

And to add to our fun, Adia pushed Leia off the couch and we're pretty sure Leia's nose is broken. The swelling's starting to go down and she starts crying if anyone bumps it. The triage nurse said there was nothing they could do until the swelling went down anyway so it's just a waiting game.

Adia's been doing a lot of art lately too. She's been painting some gorgeous pictures that use the entire page. This was at 7am this morning. She just HAD to paint.




And so I don't forget:

Leia started waving and saying Hi and bye just recently too.

October

Life is still crazy. Classes are in full swing for me. Adia's loving preschool. The twins are finding new things to destroy and new objects to climb.

We had some fun today though. It involved Borders, where each girl got a book. The twins rode around in their stroller "reading" their books out loud. It was funny. Too bad Leia then decided to eat her book. We then had ice cream and the girls ran around, played in the hay and touched pumpkins. Adia managed to have a meltdown though. That was awful. Then Leia ate hay. She always has to eat something, doesn't she?
