She ate, played, napped and fussed most of the day. Around 3, Eck and I were tired of all the complaining so I put on the wrap, (not an easy feat with one arm) and Adia and I went and got the mail. I put my maternity raincoat on over us and off we went. Adia was kicking her feet and enjoying the rain. The second we got back though she was back to crying. It was obvious she was tired, but wouldn't go to sleep. She also refused to eat anything.
Soon after Scott's mom arrived. She got Adia to calm down a bit. We then headed to Red Robin for dinner. Adia sat in the high chair at first. She would grab the menus or anything that got near enough. She kept throwing her toys on the floor though. I gave her a board book and she started eating it. She was happy doing that until our food came. Gamma G held her so we could eat.
The second we put her back in the car seat, she started crying again. She was happy to see Gampa G, who popped his head in to say hi. When we got home she had dinner. She ate 1/2 jar of sweet potatoes and 1/2 jar of peaches. She wasn't too sure about the peaches, but started opening her mouth for them. She got really fussy to let me know she was finished. She thoroughly enjoyed the fluoride and then it was into the bath.
She had a good bath with Gampa G, Eck, Gamma G and eventually DiDi. It was a little crowded in the bathroom, but Adia didn't seem to mind. DiDi and Gamma G got her dressed. She went in the jumperoo at first, but then got fussy. Eck took her out of the jumperoo and gave her to my mom while he made a bottle. Adia didn't want anything to do with the bottle so my mom put her in the burping position against her shoulder. She was asleep in seconds.
She'll no doubt wake up again, but by then she'll be hungry. We'll be able to give her a bottle, get her to go back to sleep and lay her in the crib. Or she'll want to play.
