I've been waiting since she could first sit up to master the stacking rings and today she finally did. I cheered after ever ring and so she did too. I think she's still excited about it.
We also went to Target today and bought some Pediasure. Adia's almost completely off formula, but her solids consumption has drastically decreased. She just doesn't want to try anything new and isn't eating enough to make up for the loss of formula. So, enter the Pediasure. Too bad she won't drink it. I'll keep working on it though. She did get a new toy at Target. It's a toy remote control and she loves it. She does get extremely mad that she can't remove the batteries from the back though.
If I didn't have proof enough already that Adia is a shoe girl, Target proved it for sure. While I was looking at shoes, Adia wanted down, out of the cart, basically totally uninterested, but the second I walked down the little girl's shoe aisle, her eyes lit up. She kept looking back and forth and said, "Oooh Shoes!" followed by several grabs and more "SHOE!" She picked out a very cute pair of cream colored, cherry printed flats. She does have good taste. Sadly, the smallest size was a 5 1/2. I side tracked her with her new remote control so I could sneak them back out of the cart. Maybe next time they'll have something close to her size.
