We started out trying to take a trip to Walmart and the grocery store. It was musical babies the whole time. None of them wanted to ride in the cart the whole time. Someone would want to walk which would make another one want to walk and someone else would want to be carried. At one point Tanae and Adia were even holding hands while Adia held my hand. It was sweet, but Tanae wants to run everywhere and she's hard to keep up with.
Dinner was interesting too. Adia sat in her seat, DiDi brought a booster for Tanae and Lexi used Adia's old high chair. Adia happily chowed down on her apple slices, hamburger and cheese, but Tanae didn't want to sit still long enough to eat. Lexi went nuts over the mashed potatoes.
It was then time for Adia's bath. Tanae tried to jump in too, clothes and all. Then Lexi tried too. It ended up being Tanae and Adia in the tub for a bit. Adia was ok with that until Tanae dumped water on her head. She got upset and wanted out. Lexi wanted in so I put Lexi in with Tanae. Then Adia came running back, butt naked. She peed on the bathroom floor. We think she was headed for her potty chair, but couldn't get it because it was behind the door. She ended up back in the tub with Tanae and Lexi. She seemed fine at first, but then Lexi got too close and it was over. She got out and dressed and didn't want back in. Lexi and Tanae were in the tub for a long time together. Lexi would have lasted longer, but I wanted to wash Tanae's hair. DiDi grabbed Lexi, but she kept coming back and trying to climb in with Tanae. I think Tanae took the longest bath ever and DiDi finally had to force her to get out because it was getting close to bedtime.
Bed time wasn't too bad. They were crazy at first. They kept climbing in and out of Adia's bed and bouncing. Scott had them giggling, but Lexi was barely functioning she was so tired. She kept trying to keep up with Tanae and Adia, but her crawling got slower and slower until she finally put her head down on the floor. I took Adia into our room and DiDi kept Tanae and Lexi. Adia fought sleep hard, but was out before 8. Lexi passed out immediately, but Tanae was awake for another hour and a half. DiDi ended up falling asleep before Tanae did.
Adia woke up once in the night, around 3am. She sat up and bed and looked totally confused. That's when she normally joins me in be, but of course, she was already there. I snuggled her close and we went back to sleep until Tanae woke up just before 7. She woke up Lexi and then Adia. When Adia heard their voices, she jumped out of bed and went running. She was so happy to see they were still here.
Breakfast was interesting. Adia always eats scrambled eggs and an eggo. We had no idea what Tanae or Lexi would eat. Lexi munched on an eggo while Tanae made a mess with cereal. It was a disaster, but at least they were happy. I was finally able to jump in the shower, but it took awhile. Tanae kept crying because she was tired (wonder who's fault that was) and then Adia would cry because Tanae was crying or someone took her toy. It was crazy, but I finally did get a shower.
I thought it would be fun to take them all to the play area at the mall. We couldn't go out to eat, that would be way too crazy and we discovered the store was dangerous too. The play area was the perfect place. They had a blast and there weren't too many bigger kids. Adia went right for the boys, as usual. Tanae and Adia got really good at climbing the stairs to slide down the slide. Lexi really liked the tubes to crawl through and Adia had fun with her.
