End of July

DiDi left for Colorado in mid-July and we had to keep busy. We went blueberry picking with our twins group. Adia was stoked about berry picking. Mira was excited too, but Leia wasn't so sure. She picked a few berries before deciding it was much too hot and just laying down between rows. She was done. We ended up picking 10 pounds of blueberries!


After we were all done picking, we checked out the animals. The girls really liked the bunnies. They loved petting the horse and watching the goats. During the week, Adia rode her bike while I pulled the twins in the bike trailer over to her elementary school. One evening we even had a picnic dinner on the playground.


The next weekend we went hiking at Mt. Pisgah. We'd never been before so we thought we'd check it out. The girls loved it and it was the perfect temperature out. They absolutely loved their picnic too.


After hiking, we went to the farm to buy some berries and check out some animals. Once again, the pony and bunnies were their favorites. The girls thought the chickens and turkey were pretty cool too. Then it was back home for berry crisp, legos and a movie.
