Belated Twin Birthday Post

The twins are 3 (actually, almost 3yrs 1 month at this point) and they had a great birthday. Leia wanted a Strawberry Shortcake birthday and Mira wanted a ladybug birthday. I wasn't sure how I was going to make a cake for Leia, but Mira's was easy. I loved her ladybug cake. Leia's cake took more work and I attempted using my giant cupcake pan. Overall, it turned out great, but I'm reminded why it doesn't get used often. They had a small party at home with lot of family.


They had a blast opening presents together and couldn't wait to play with everything. The toys are still finding places to live.


For their actual birthday, Mira requested waffles for breakfast. We of course had ice cream and candles. You can't have birthday waffles without ice cream and candles.


We spent most of the day just hanging out. We went to the park, played legos with Daddy and after dinner, more cake and candles.
