After eating breakfast, we drove back to Gramma and Papa's house. I did a big mommy fail and realized I didn't buy Easter dresses for the girls. Whoops. Adia had a few she could wear, but I only had 1 dress for the twins from when Adia was a year old. That wouldn't exactly work so the girls all wore overalls instead. Since the twins are walking anyway, overalls work better.
Adia was so happy to be at Gramma and Papa's house. She dyed Easter eggs, blew bubbles with Papa and was chased around the house by Eck and Colie.
When it came time to eat, she wasn't interested. She wanted to play instead, but the twins were all about the food. Mira pretty much eats anything and Leia's starting to get better about feeding herself. I bought booster seats just so feeding them would be easier. It worked perfectly. They were thoroughly covered in food by the time they finished.
After dinner, we celebrated Papa's birthday. I had baked a carrot cake and some vanilla cupcakes since I had a feeling Adia wouldn't want carrot cake. Adia couldn't wait to help Papa with his candles. She then had him open presents. Adia picked out Papa's present all by herself. She wanted to get him a hat that said "Papa". I took her to the hat store and she picked the navy blue hat, told the lady she wanted green lettering and picked the font. I was really proud of her. I have a feeling Papa will be wearing the hat quite a bit from now on.
Adia was really sad that we couldn't spend the night, but her 3 year appointment was the next morning along with her first dental cleaning in the afternoon. Her appointment went well. Adia is now 27.8lbs and 36in tall. She's the 25th percentile for both and perfectly healthy. She let her doctor listen to her heart and look in her mouth and ears. I felt horrible though because she ended up getting a shot that I had no idea she needed. Apparently she missed a shot previously because there was a shortage so she had to make up for it now. I haven't heard her scream like that in ages, but it as over quickly. I did have to give her tylenol yesterday because she was so cranky.

Her first dental cleaning was later that afternoon. It took some time for her to warm up to the hygienist, but once she did, she was perfect. Her teeth look awesome and there's no signs of any decay. Exactly what I want to hear. She giggled like crazy when they painted the fluoride on and then she got a prize. She's been asking to brush her teeth at least once a day since.

Sadly, I had to take Leia to the doctor today. Daddy noticed her eye was red and when he looked closer, it looked sliced. Adia later told me that she got her in the eye with a colored pencil. I took her in and luckily, she's fine. It's just a very nasty looking sub conjunctive hemorrhage. It will take a couple weeks to heal, but she should be fine. She didn't particularly enjoy the staining of her eye to find that out. We held her down while the doctor put what looked like highlighter ink in her eye and then looked at it under a black light. Leia was not happy, but she didn't scream nearly as bad as Mira and Adia had been. I had to strap Adia into the stroller because she refused to follow directions and kept trying to climb on the table. I was worried she'd get hurt. Her screaming caused Mira to start screaming. It was bad. Not something I want to do again. They also weighed Leia and she's 17lbs 2oz! She'll be 9 months tomorrow. Adia was 18lbs at 1 year. I can't believe how big the twins are since I know Mira weighs more.
