Trip to the Coast

We headed to the coast last weekend for Papa's birthday. It was cold and wet so we had to play inside and the beach trip was a disaster. :( I keep hoping it will be sunny again.







Tiger came with us. He's getting so big and silly.







We did attempt going to the park when we got home, but they'd turned on the water. Can we say disaster? Of course that's right where Leia headed.




In our few sun breaks, we've been working on the backyard. The girls love playing out there. The pond is drained, we've ripped out a few trees and bushes, planted a peach tree and a bunch of other plants.













And a silly pic of Mira. She put the boot and hat on all by herself.

Portraits

DiDi and I took the girls to get portraits done. The twins haven't been since they were just a few months old and there was a very good reason for it. IT. WAS. A. DISASTER. Mira, who acted all sweet at first, was done after just a few shots. By that time, Leia had finally warmed up enough to smile. And Adia was Adia. She only wanted to do her canned, fake smile that looks awful and then she started running around like a maniac. Luckily, we got 1 really good picture of all 3 together and then the photographer was able to photoshop a pic of the twins together and do individual pictures of all the girls.
