She slept with my mom last night after she finally fell asleep at 10:30. She woke up too early though because the neighbors started pounding downstairs. She was not a happy camper. She spent most of her fussy morning with Unky Eck and Scott. She woke me with her cries at 10 though. She was obviously exhausted, but couldn't relax enough to sleep. I sat in the rocking chair with her against my chest. Eck patted her back for me since there's only so much you can do with one arm. Despite plenty of complaining, Adia finally fell asleep. She slept in my arms for almost 2 hours. I don't know what woke her, but she was very disoriented when she woke up.
Adia then played with Eck and Scott before my mom came back for a lunch break. Adia was really happy to see her. Eck soon left and Adia was sad to see him go. She then played on the floor with Scott, watching blues brothers, while I took a shower. She watched Scott put my splint back on and then started to get fussy again. Scott made her a bottle and she fell asleep with her head on his tummy. She would have slept longer, but my mom was heading back and Scott needed to take a shower. She didn't cry when she woke up, but gave me a toothy grin. She got serious after that though. My mom came back and Adia continued to play on the floor.
It was soon time to drive Scott to his work meeting. We transferred Adia's car seat to my mom's car and after a few troubles, left. We dropped Scott off and parked. Since his meeting wasn't supposed to take long, we put Adia in my mom's stroller for a little walk. Barely half a block away, Scott called to tell me his meeting wasn't happening. We walked back and got Adia back in the car. She started crying again. We didn't know what was wrong. We dropped Scott off at home with Adia and my mom and I went to the store.

When we got back, Adia and Scott were playing on the floor. She had pooped again and that was part of the fussiness. She was happy to see us though. She continued to play and when Scott put her on his chest, she stuck her foot against his throat. Every time he'd choke or gag, she'd laugh. She's already learning how to beat someone down. He stood her up and blew on her tummy. That made her laugh too. She just loves to play with daddy.

She started to fuss so we figured it was dinner time. We were having turkey with sweet potatoes and I happened to have a jar of the same. I thought Adia might like to try it. She ended up eating 3/4 of the jar, happily. I've never seen her open her mouth so wide for anything else. She also drank some water and had her fluoride. Then it was bath time with daddy.

Can you tell I fed her left handed?
Adia really enjoyed bath time with daddy. I think he plays more than I do. She only complained and wanted out after he washed under her chin. He had a hard time putting her diaper on though. She can't crawl, but she doesn't seem to know that. He had just covered her in desitin when she flipped and tried to crawl off the counter. After eventually getting her diaper on, he brought her to the living room for pjs.

Scott gave her a bottle while my mom grabbed herself some food. She took Adia from Scott so he could eat. All Adia wanted was my mom's food. My mom put down her food and once Adia forgot about it, she took her bottle and fell asleep. My mom laid her in the crib and she slept long enough for my mom to eat. When she woke again, she finished the bottle and fell back asleep. She's now been asleep since 8:30 in her crib.
