onion bagels

Adia woke up not long after I posted the blog. She was fairly happy and we had just given my mom an onion bagel. Adia couldn't keep her eyes off of it. She eventually grabbed it and got it in her mouth. She ripped off a piece with her hand, but was happily sucking on the rest of the bagel to care. She got butter all over her hands, but continued to suck on the bagel.


We were worried she'd break a piece off so we switched the bagel for a teething biscuit. She grabbed it right away and started sucking and chewing on it. I think she was surprised by it, but she really seemed to like it.


She got bored with it after awhile and wanted to play. She wiggled out of my mom's arms to sit on the floor. She then demonstrated her pretend crawling abilities. Instead of going forward, she rolled sideways and over a bunch of toys. My mom moved her back to the blanket and she did her sitting to crawling move. She happily played while laying on her tummy.

When she got upset with that position my mom moved her. Adia ended half on top of my mom and started chewing her belt. No matter how many times my mom moved Adia into a sitting position, Adia would rotate around and prop herself up on my mom's stomach. She likes to use my mom as a jungle gym.
