After all our showers were taken and Tanae had a bath, DiDi, Tanae, Adia and I went to Toys r Us. We were looking for another set of stacking cups. I wore Adia in the bijorn. She LOVED it. I can't wait until I get my Kozy because I'll be able to wear her more comfortably. She was kicking her feet and babbling from the second I put her in it until we got back to the car. Once we were in the store, Tanae looked at Adia and said, "Baby!" I got close to Tanae. She reached over and gave Adia a big hug and kiss. It was sweet. Then she kept smiling at Adia. Adia' a little dangerous to take into stores though. She's started to grab everything off the shelves, especially clothing. We found the stacking cups, after a lot of searching, and also got Adia a bath mat for bath time. I hope it works. Adia didn't mind getting back in her car seat because she could look at Tanae. Tanae wasn't happy about it though. She was tired and cranky.

We got back to the house and Adia played happily on the floor with her new cups. DiDi gave Tanae apple juice and then left. Adia was good for awhile. Scott gave her a bottle while I wrapped a wedding present. Then Scott took a shower, but Adia wasn't finished and neither was I. I managed to prop the bottle in her mouth long enough to finish wrapping. By the time I was done, she was out cold. She woke up happy and wanting to play. She plaid for a little bit before acting like she wanted to jump. Scott put her in the jumperoo. When he took her out of the jumperoo it was just about time to get her changed for the wedding. Scott quickly noticed that she had pooped and it was all the way up the back of her diaper. We dressed her and headed out the door.

Adia was in a good mood when we got to the wedding. She was a little bashful, but was mostly curious. Some of the people she's met before, but only a few times. She was great through the ceremony and through most of the reception. She started to get a little fussy at the end, but after a small bottle break, she was good to go. Adia wanted to eat while we ate so she tried some cheese, which she loved, and some banana. Even though she's had banana before, she didn't like it. She especially loved all the other little kids and babies. She was actually the only baby that didn't cry when the bride held her. I think the bride has a special place in her heart for Adia now! Adia knows how to suck up like a pro. Once the sun started to set, it started to get a little chilly so we had to change Adia from her dress into some jeans and a sweater. Thank you DiDi for a well stocked diaper bag! Within minutes of getting her in the car seat, she was out. She slept all the way home and for a few minutes in the crib. She woke up crying, but only because she had no idea where she was. The second I picked her up, she smiled and was all smiles from then on out.

Dinnertime was fun. Adia was in a wonderful mood. She ate quite a few puffs and every time she looked at Scott, she'd wiggle and laugh. She had the biggest grin on her face. She also ate some sweet potatoes with apples, but not very much. At one point she took a spoonful and promptly spit it all back out, with force. It was certainly a sight to see.

Bath time was also fun. Adia was still in a great mood. I bathed with her so we didn't get any pictures or video, but every time she looked at Scott she'd start laughing hysterically. It's usually impossible to get her laughing, but tonight Scott must have looked funny or something because every glance at him ended in a bout of laughter. She was also using a cup to shoot water all over the bathroom. She got Scott a few times and made a giant puddle outside the tub. She at least let me wash her hair and the rest of her. She wasn't too happy when it came to diaper and pj time.
Once she was dressed, she was happy again and wanted to play. She continued to laugh at Scott and when he headed to the bathroom, she tried to crawl. She still doesn't stay up on all fours, but she is starting to move. Tonight she saw something under the couch she wanted and she went for it. I watched her wiggle all the way over to it, about 3 feet, and she ended up with the top half of her body under the couch. All she wanted was a magazine and a piece of mail. When Scott came back, he was shocked to see how far she move and laughed when he saw what she had. Shortly afterwards she started crying. It was time for a bottle.
I cuddled her in my lap and she fell asleep before even drinking 1/2 an ounce. Scott tried to lay her down and she woke up seconds later. When she opened her eyes and saw him, she laughed again! It was pretty obvious that she wouldn't stay asleep so he gave her back to me. She ended up drinking more and falling asleep around 10. I laid her down with her music on and she's still asleep half a hour later.

I love that dress! It's gorgeous and Adia's just a beautiful little lady in it.
