Adia was asleep by 10 last night. It took a lot of effort on Scott's part, but he finally succeeded. He laid her on the floor, where she's been sleeping the last few nights with my mom, but before we went to bed we transferred her to her crib. It gets a little drafty on the floor so we didn't want her to get too cold. She slept straight through until 7:30. Yes, you read that right. She slept a straight 9 1/2 hours! I just kept thinking, of course she did because Scott would have had to get up with her. That's how it always seems to happen.

Scott got up with her at 7:30 and let me sleep in. He got her back to sleep for a little bit, but just as he was falling to sleep, she woke up again. I got up shortly after that and she was happy to see me. I took my shower and then we watched a movie. Adia snuggled with me on the couch while Scott showered and she quickly fell asleep. We had several errands to run, but we waiting for her to wake back up. She slept for almost a hour and woke up before she was ready. She wasn't cranky though and actually smiled when she saw me. I set her on the floor so I could do a couple things before we left. While she was on the floor she rolled over and actually got up on her hands and knees. She was in a perfect crawling position until she noticed we were watching her. She quickly dropped back to her tummy.

Before we could head out we had to move her car seat. We've been driving around for the last 7 months with our car seat latched into two separate LATCH systems. I nearly panicked when I found out, but at least we discovered the problem before something bad happened. It was incredibly easy to fix too. We had a horrible time installing the car seat before Adia was born, but this time it just clipped right in. No adjusting necessary since it was already level. I guess it had been trying to tell us something when we installed it the first time. Adia was a little confused by her new location in the car, but she can see out the window a little better.

We stopped at Scott's work first. He had something he needed to finish before his vacation could really start. Then it was to Old Navy to exchange Adia's new overalls for a larger size. She already had that pair in the same size and they were too short after washing. The 6-12 month size looks huge, but have a better chance of being long enough. We then made a quick stop at Blockbuster to exchange movies and then to get me a haircut. Adia started to get fussy before my haircut so I made her a bottle. Scott fed her while my hair was cut and by the time we got back in the car, she was looking really sleepy. I fed her a little more and she fell asleep. When we got home she was completely out. Scott carried her up the stairs and carefully laid her in her crib. She slept for almost a hour in there, but woke up screaming.

After her nap she wanted to play. She played on the floor for a little while before she roped Scott into playing too. He ended up getting her to laugh while she stood on his chest. It's her favorite game with him and always ends with him getting hurt and her laughing. When she finished with Scott, all eyes were for me. She grabbed a hold of the couch and tried to grab my laptop, then my cell phone and eventually me. I picked her up and noticed she smelled rank. I pulled her jeans down slightly to take a look and there was certainly something in here. We had no idea it was a blowout though. the second Scott took her pants off, we knew we were in trouble. It was all the way up her back, to her armpits. Of course we ran out of wipes in the tub midway through the change and we got poop all over the towel on the changing table. It was a disaster area. I had to do laundry to clean it all up. Afterwards we just kept her in a diaper since it was almost dinnertime anyway.

She was all smiles again once she was clean. She was standing, holding onto the couch and went after me again. I picked her up, but she didn't want me to just hold her, she wanted to bounce. My arm is certainly not up for jumping so Scott put her in the jumperoo. She went crazy. She was babbling and bouncing like a kangaroo. It was definitely what she wanted. She stayed jumping until it was time for dinner.

Adia had sweet potatoes with apples and puffs for dinner. She absolutely loves the puffs. She's still not great about getting them in her mouth, but she likes trying. She finished off half a container of sweet potatoes with apples and even ate some of my sweet potato. She used her new sippy cup today. It has a valve on it, unlike her other sippy cups. She seemed to really like it, but didn't get much out of it. She'd rather chew on the spout then tip it back to drink.

every time we take a picture with a flash, her eyes close

After dinner Scott gave her a bath. She went after the drain again. She's good at wiggling down the tub no matter where you place her. When she got out and Scott placed her on the counter, she wasn't interested in Bob. All she wanted was the faucet. She nearly landed in the sink she was stretching so far. Since she wouldn't talk or play with Bob, Scott thought it was time to put her diaper on. Adia had other plans. She decided to make it as difficult as possible for Scott to diaper her. She was constantly trying to flip on her tummy and almost succeeded multiple times. She even almost got in a crawling position. After finally getting her diaper on, Scott dressed her. She wasn't too cooperative about that either.

Then it was time to play on the floor. She didn't last long before getting tired and wanting a bottle. Scott scooped her up and cuddled her while she drank. You could watching the sleepiness take her. I hope she sleeps well tonight since we're going to the pumpkin patch tomorrow. We all need to be rested for that and I want a happy baby for pictures. Hopefully it doesn't pour too much while we're there.
