We played for a little bit, but she started to get fussy again. I made her another bottle and she fell back asleep. She slept for about another hour. Afterwards I took a shower and she played in her bouncy seat. She's definitely getting too big for it. Maybe not in size, but in ability level. She can sit herself all the way up, rip the toy bar off and nearly reach the ground. Its days are certainly limited.

falling back asleep
Scott woke up not long after my shower and Adia was snuggled up in my lap again. She was incredibly happy to see him. We spent the rest of the day lounging around watching movies and tv shows. Adia took a couple more naps, one fairly short and one long one right before dinner. She's still trying to crawl, but doesn't understand that she has to use her arms AND her legs. She just kinda flops around or tries to use the carpet to pull herself along. Somehow she does manage to move though.
We ended up waking her up for dinner because we knew if she slept then she would never go to bed tonight. She was really upset, but was quickly distracted by the puffs on her tray. She's getting better at getting them to her mouth, but it's going to be a long process. She still tries to grab them with her fist and use two hands to get them in. She does love them though. I think she really likes being able to feed herself. I think we may try cut up mushy foods shortly. She didn't have much luck with the sweet potatoes, but maybe she will next time. She did end up eating the rest of her Turkey with sweet potatoes, but wasn't too keen on the oatmeal with pears and cinnamon. It seemed kinda thick and snot like so I don't blame her. I don't think I would have wanted to eat it either.

Scott gave her her bath tonight. He was trying to teach her to splash. She used to splash all the time, but seems to have forgotten how. It's been replaced with banging two cups together. Scott washed her off and then got her dressed. I could hear the babbling and laughter coming from the bathroom. He then brought her out to me and she gave me the biggest grin. She wasn't interested in sleeping right away so she played on the floor for a little bit. That stopped when she tried to crawl away, but got nowhere. Then the crying started.

And how she got there:
She's been crying and screaming off and on since then. I try to hold her and get her to sleep, but she wiggles and bends my arm. It's already hurting more today than it did yesterday so I just can't hold onto her. She's now laying on the floor, crying hysterically while Scott tries to calm her. She probably wants me, but it doesn't work with all the squirming. I may try again getting her to sleep soon or we'll never have any peace tonight.
