Adia jumped in the jumperoo, like always. I tried to take a nap on the couch. I felt exhausted and didn't know why. She didn't last too long in the jumperoo. I thought she'd pooped, but she hadn't. She was just hungry. I gave her a bottle and she dozed briefly. When she woke up she wanted to play. I snagged some breakfast while she played, but when she saw my food she wanted it too. Since I was eating applesauce, I shared. She liked my applesauce even though it's unsweetened. It does taste better than the Gerber stuff. I think she also liked eating off the big person spoon.
After some more playtime, Adia was acting tired again. I wanted to take a shower though. I showered quickly and she didn't seem to mind. Then I gave her a bottle and we fell asleep on the couch for a hour. I felt refreshed when we woke up and so did Adia. She was all smiles and wanted more playtime. We woke Scott up around 11 and after he took a shower, we played Halo. Adia was perfectly happy in the jumperoo until she did what she almost always does in the jumperoo. She started fussing and when I checked her, she had blown out the side of the cloth dipe. I had happened to use a liner, but it couldn't catch all of it. She's been going through covers lately like nobody's business. At this rate they might as well be all in ones. Scott put another diaper on her while I cleaned up the mess of the poopy one. She was very happy after that and let us beat Halo while she played on the floor.
Scott had to go into work early today and I wanted to pick up a Moby wrap before he had to work. We left early and headed to get the Moby. They only had one color, natural with UV protection. I was a little bummed that there wasn't a selection, but I was also happy to have one. We drove Scott to work and when we came home, Adia took another nap. She cried all the way home from dropping him off. I knew she was hungry and tired. I fed her and she fell asleep for another hour.

When she woke up, I thought we could try the wrap. The pictured didn't look too bad, but I couldn't believe how long and heavy it was. After a few botched attempts, I succeeded. Adia loved it from the second she was in it. We went and got the mail. When I came back I thought she'd play on the floor for a while. I was wrong, she started grabbing at me and the wrap. I wrapped us back up and thought we could go for a walk. Since it was took cold outside to walk, we headed to the mall.

I always used to get looks when Adia was in the Bijorn, but never as many as when she was in the wrap. There were some people who commented on how cute/happy/alert she was. The whole time she was kicking her feet and talking. Then there were the others who looked at me like I was an alien. Those looks came from mostly parents who had their young children with them. One of which had theirs in a stroller. You would think people in Eugene would have seen a Moby Wrap before. We're like the hippie capital. Anyway, Adia was happy and I was surprisingly comfortable, even though I hadn't retied it after taking it out of it to get her in the car. It was kinda loose which meant she was lower than I would have liked. It still didn't hurt my back though.
She cried when I took her out of it to put her back in the car. She cried most of the way home. She was happy when I took her back out because I was holding her tight again. She was rubbing her eyes so I made her another bottle and she fell asleep on the couch for another hour. While she was sleeping, I made chicken soup for Scott, who told me he might be coming home early because he was sick. She was happy when she woke up and I stripped her for dinner. She ate 3/4 jar of sweet potatoes and the remaining 2nd food pears. Well, she didn't actually eat it all. It was partially a food fight. I would be coming in with a spoonful and she'd get really excited, flail her arms and shoot food everywhere. We had a splatter painted tray and baby. She also drank out of her sippy cup and did really well. I could even hear her swallowing water. Then she had her fluoride which she happily took without spitting any out.
Bath time was very happy tonight. I added her aveeno to the bath so she had bubbles. She was fascinated by them and her cups. She kept banging cups together and smiling. Every time I tried to take a picture though, she'd move. While she was in the bath, Scott texted to let me know we could come pick him up. I got Adia out of the tub, luckily she was starting to act like she wanted out. I put on another bumGenius diaper (pink tonight) and her pjs. She was still smiling and happy. She tried to help me make her bottle and got a little confused when we headed out the door. She didn't get upset when I buckled her in, but fussed off and on the whole way there. She was happy to see Scott though. He tried to get her to drink her bottle, but she kept smiling at him and drooling milk down her chin. She was happy to see me again when I took her out of the car.

When we got in the house, I got her cuddled up on the couch for her bottle. She drank half of it, but then started smiling at me while grabbing her feet. It was obvious she didn't want to sleep. I set her on the floor and she started playing. That's when she noticed that Scott was laying on the floor nearby. She grabbed her phone and rolled towards him, trying to hand him her phone. She really wanted to play with him. She then rolled the other direction because she noticed my laptop cord. Before I knew it, I could see her little hands wrapped around it. She started smiling at me when I stole the cord back. Then she went back to her toys. She was smiling and rolling, perfectly happy. I took her back to try the bottle again when she grabbed onto Scott's arm and tried to eat his hand.

She took the bottle right away, but was still wiggling like crazy. She finished off the bottle, but still wasn't asleep. Scott made her two more ounces, but she didn't want them. She went back to wiggling. Hopefully I can get her to sleep eventually tonight.
