bye bye gampa

Adia was up bright and early at 6:30 after waking up several times last night. She sounded really happy to have Gampa so I stayed in bed until later. According to Gampa, Adia played in the jumperoo until she pooped. It was one of those poops that almost escapes the diaper. A few more jumps and it might of. Then it was lots of playing, napping and watching Little Mermaid with Gampa.

When I got up, she started crying and trying to get to me. It broke my heart. She was quickly sidetracked by a bottle though. She laid back on a blanket, held her bottle and fell asleep. She didn't sleep long though. When she woke up she was cranky. A good sign that she didn't sleep long enough. Gampa held her and fed her in the chair until they both fell asleep. They slept for almost a hour. She was happy when she woke up. I picked her up and took her to wake up Scott. She was so happy to see him. She stuck out her tongue and smiled huge.

She played with Scott while Gampa ran some errands. Scott helped me take my splint off so I could take a shower. When I got out, Scott was holding Adia. He had to set her in the pod so he could help me put the splint back on. She liked to watch us and herself. We played with her until Gampa came back. Then Scott took a shower. Gampa gave Adia a bottle and she fell asleep again. We were all supposed to go run errands, but since Adia was asleep, Scott and I went without them.

When we got back Adia was happily playing on the floor. Not long after Adia's Unky Eck arrived. She didn't know what to think of him since she hasn't seen him in several weeks. Gampa, Eck and Scott ended up playing Halo while Adia played. She didn't last long on her own, but wanted some attention. They traded her around while they continued to play. She wasn't too happy about that and Gampa helped her stand while continuing to play.

It was soon dinnertime. Scott fed Adia sweet potatoes and a little bit of green beans. She got sweet potatoes everywhere, but opened her mouth for each bite. We also tried giving her puffs. She still doesn't know how to pick them up and put them in her mouth, but with some help she did eat one. She actually used her front teeth to bite it.





Scott also gave Adia her bath. She seemed like she was having lots of fun. She played a lot and then grabbed onto him to get out. While trying to get her diaper on and the desitin, Adia grabbed her diaper and tried to eat it. Gampa helped out and the two of them got Adia in her diaper and pjs.


Adia didn't want her bottle right away, but she also didn't want to play. Gampa said goodbye to her. Within a few minutes, Adia was crying. Scott eventually got her calmed down. She took her bottle and fell asleep for a little bit. She woke up, mouth wide open, looking for the bottle. He gave her the bottle back and she finished it while half asleep.
