While Scott and I showered, my mom fed Adia who fell back asleep for over a hour. While she slept, we watched Transformers. When she woke up, we headed off to have brunch and run a couple errands. We ate at Denny's and Adia attempted the high chair. She didn't last long so Scott held her until our food came. Then she went back into the high chair. She started to complain because we were eating and she wasn't so we ordered her some applesauce. She didn't eat very much of it, but occasional bites we enough to keep her occupied. It didn't go to waste though because my mom finished it off. After Denny's we stopped by Safeway to pick up my prescription. Adia was totally serious and refused to smile at the pharmacist. When she saw my mom it was total recognition though and a big smile. She whined all the way home though. She hates being in her car seat.

When we got home, my mom gave Adia another bottle and Scott left for work. She drank all 4oz and wanted more. I gave her another 2 and she finished that too. So I made her another 2 and she drank half of that. She never fell asleep, but when she was done eating, she really wanted to play. She was in a really good mood. We played for a little bit, changed a poopy diaper and then headed to Walmart for a few other errands. Adia sat in the cart like a big girl, but only if she could hold hands with one of us. When she started to get bored, my mom set a package of paper plates next to her. She was in heaven. She started hitting them like a drum. She was great through the whole shopping trip and especially liked electronics. There was a big screen TV with cartoons playing. She was hooked. She cried all the way home though. She really hates her car seat. I wonder if we're going to have to buy a convertible just because her infant seat is just too confining.

It was dinnertime when we got home. I think puffs are my new favorite food. I strapped her into her high chair and stuck a few puffs in front of her. It takes her forever just to get one in her mouth because she tries to use her whole fist. It kept her busy for a long time though and I was able to put dinner in the oven. By then my mom was done with the laundry so she could feed her dinner. Adia ate some of her sweet potatoes with turkey and pears. She wasn't too interested in them tonight, but certainly liked her fluoride. It's like dessert for her.
Her bath was short and sweet. She somehow seems to move all over the tub and end up nearly on top of the drain. It's so weird when she starts at the other end of the tub. I really don't know how she moves. She played for a little while and then I laid her back and washed her. She wasn't too happy about that and did not want me washing under her neck. Normally that's where she stores food. I managed to get her out of the tub and then my mom dressed her. Adia was really tired after her bath so I made her a bottle and my mom fed her. She took a really short "snap", but was a silly girl when she woke up. She was all smiles for my mom. I took her so my mom could eat dinner. She was using me as a jungle gym and even ended up hanging upside down for awhile. Then my mom took her back. They played on the floor and she even got Adia laughing, which is no easy task. Adia continued playing on the floor while my mom unloaded the dishwasher.

I hope she goes to sleep soon tonight. My mom has to leave here by 6am to get home in time for school. I'm going to miss her so much because she's been such a help. Adia's going to miss her too, but at least we get to see her again soon. We got to the pumpkin patch on Saturday!
