After Scott got up, Gampa G, Adia and Scott went to run errands. Scott wanted to get me some birthday surprises. Adia fell asleep in the car seat at the first stop. Then when they went to the mall, Gampa G wore her in the bijorn. I would have liked to see that.
When they got back, Adia played while we ate. While she was busy on the floor, Gampa G picked up my new jogging stroller. She watched him put it together while she sat in the jumperoo. After it was together, he set her in it. I guess I picked well because she really seemed to like it. She wasn't strapped in so she could lean all the way down and grab her feet. She was all smiles too.
When she started to get fussy, Gampa made her a bottle. She grabbed it from him and put it in her mouth. She sat on the floor, trying to eat, but not tipping it up high enough. Gampa laid her back, propped up slightly on a blanket. She easily started drinking while watching the news. Not long after she fell asleep. She slept for at least 30 minutes. She woke up upset, but quickly grabbed a hold of Gampa. He had her smiling within moments because she was pulling his beard.
It was soon dinnertime. Adia had sweet potatoes and applesauce again, but also tried green beans. She ate more than she did last night, but didn't like the green beans. Then it was bath time. She had fun playing with her turtles. She was even happier getting dressed.
After her bath she played for a little while on the floor. It didn't last long because Gampa was trying to put baby latches on the cupboards in the kitchen. I picked her up, but there wasn't much I could do for her. Gampa grabbed the bebe pod and Adia helped him in the kitchen. That didn't last long either before she was crying for a bottle. She took the bottle and held it while laying on the floor, but that wasn't enough either. She wanted to be held and cuddled while she ate. She quickly fell asleep.
