When I unbundled her after the walk, her face, hands and feet all were ice cold. The rest of her was really warm though. I took my shower and she played the whole time. After my shower I managed to get her to take a nap on the couch. She slept for a hour and a half, but woke up just as Scott and I were getting engrossed in Halo. It's that baby radar thing again. We tried to keep her occupied so we could keep playing, but we didn't have any luck.

She did need a clean diaper though so Scott took her. There was poo everywhere when he opened her diaper. It was really nasty, slimy and smelly. Not to mention totally stuck all over her. She must have pooped in her sleep or shortly before. I ended up taking care of the nasty cloth dipe and washing the cover and once cleaned up, Adia ended up sitting next to Scott on the couch, watching Harry and the Hendersons. She was chewing on her remote, leaning towards him. Her clean butt must have been feeling much better, even though it looks a little sore. There will be no more applesauce for my little princess for awhile.

Adia was really silly while we ate lunch. She kept trying to put her hands in our food and steal stuff. She watched every bite go from Scott plate to his mouth. I gave her a bottle afterwards and thought for sure that she'd sleep, but of course she didn't. She only got tired right before it was time to take Scott to work. She cried a little on the way there, but fell asleep on the way back. It was the first time in a week that she didn't scream all the way home. I was hoping I could get her out of the car without waking her, but it didn't happen. She woke up, looked at me and didn't smile or cry. I did attempt to get her back to sleep, but no luck there either. She drank some of the bottle and then wanted to play. I was really tired so I set her on the floor, surrounded by toys. The next thing I knew it was 20 minutes later. It must have been a 20 minute power nap because I felt much better when I woke up.
Adia still wanted to play, but also wanted to hop. I set her in the jumperoo and she went after the bird. She was perfectly happy playing and even let me go in the kitchen while she bounced. She really likes that she can grab the bird and frog now. She'll grab one and then eye the other and desperately try to reach it. She did succeed in getting both tonight. She was thrilled, but didn't know what to do next. She couldn't move enough to chew on either so she eventually let go of the frog. She likes the bird more because it has a tail that's easy to grab and eat and the tag is always a plus too.

Dinner was interesting. She had sweet potatoes and carrots, but wouldn't eat the oatmeal. I don't have any fruits except pears that seem to be ok with her tummy. I think I may try bananas again. They didn't seem to upset her tummy, she just didn't particularly like them. I need to get a mesh teether so I can put frozen banana in there. I bet she'd like that. The only way I like bananas are frozen. She made a mess eating tonight since she stole the spoon. She had oatmeal and carrots everywhere, even on her eyelids and in her hair. She didn't seem to mind until I tried to clean some of it off. Then she turned into a screamer.

Mirror baby made everything better though. I left her in front of the mirror for ages because she was so happy. While she played, I got her bath ready. She started watching me and leaning towards the bathtub. I took that as a clue that she wanted in the tub. She didn't last long though. I managed to wash her hair and get most of the food off of her. She was happy to see mirror baby again, but was also very clingy. I managed to get her dressed, but she fought the whole time. Then it was Tylenol, teething tablets, a bottle and snuggles. I laid her down at 8:30, only to have her wake 15 minutes later. After some crying, orajel and another bottle, she was asleep again. Now I just hope she sleeps for awhile.
