Adia slept from 8 to 12:00 last night. I had to flip her twice before I went to bed though. Then she was out at 12:30 and slept till 6. She probably would have slept longer, but she had once again flipped onto her tummy. She was mad and couldn't get back to her back. I brought her into bed and fed her, but she wasn't going back to sleep. We got up, I changed her diaper and into the jumperoo she went. She lasted 30 minutes before I thought we'd try some breakfast. She enjoyed the first couple bites, but soon started screaming. So it was time to get dressed.

I dressed her and then took my shower. She didn't complain to much in the bouncy seat, but I could tell she was getting tired since it was the time she was normally asleep in the stroller. After my shower I fed her and we both fell asleep on the couch for a bit. We woke up when Scott did. Adia also managed to snag the remote. I'm just waiting for her to learn how to change channels. We were watching Saturday morning cartoons, but she doesn't like Veggie Tales, I guess.

She was happy to see Scott. They tried playing on the floor for a bit, or it was more like Scott sitting next to Adia while she played with her toys and he played Xbox. He gave up because all she wanted was his glowing controller. When he picked her up, she went after my laptop. She reached for the jumperoo when they got near it, so into the jumperoo she went. She can actually reach the dangling frog and bird. She had the biggest grin on her face when she discovered that.

Scott went to work early and Adia looked crestfallen when he left. She said "Dadada" a few times. She then drank a couple ounces, but wouldn't sleep. She ended up back on the floor playing for a bit until my mom and Tanae arrived. Adia looked confused at first. She hasn't seen Tanae in a few weeks and my mom in a couple. She was soon smiling at them.

After a bit we went to the mall. Adia was in her stroller and Tanae in hers. They both looked really bored and after only one loop around, Adia started crying. She was hungry and tired since she hadn't had her morning or noon nap. When we got back in the car, I gave Adia a bottle and she only drank an ounce before falling asleep. Our next stop was WalMart. Tanae loves riding in the cart and I knew Adia would stay asleep for a bit in the Bijorn. I managed to keep her asleep during the transition from car seat to bijorn and she did say asleep for quite awhile. She woke up happy, but a little disoriented.

We walked around WalMart for a little while. Adia got some new linking rings to chew on and had fun watching Tanae. After Walmart we headed home. Adia drank another ounce, but wasn't going to sleep. She started jumping in my mom's arms instead. Meanwhile, Tanae was destroying our living room. We put Adia in the jumperoo and she went crazy. Tanae had to investigate what was going on. She ended up trying to give Adia a big, opened mouth kiss, which resulted in Adia crying because Tanae growled while doing it. You'd think that after 6 months either Tanae would stop growling at Adia or Adia would have finally gotten used to it.

In the end, both Adia and Tanae were hungry. While I was dishing out soup, my mom held Adia AND Tanae. They were both eating, but at least Tanae can actually hold her sippy cup on her own. Adia's another story. She didn't even end up eating much.

"And I only have eyes for you."

After my mom went home, Adia and I cuddle up on the couch and she drank 3oz. She dozed briefly, but never actually slept. It was then 6pm and her usual dinnertime, but she was more interested in playing. She say on the floor and played with her "cd player". We bought it for her a couple months ago, but it got buried in her room until Tanae found it today. She's been enthralled by it since then.

After a few minutes, I convinced her she might want something to eat. I hooked her into her high chair and attached the tray. She started banging on it with a smile on her face. She ended up eating all her sweet potatoes and oatmeal. She was really good about it too. She only fussed at the very end and that was after a spoonful of peaches. She always gives me an expression like I've broken some sacred trust. I don't know how we'll ever get her to eat anything besides sweet potatoes.

After dinner was bath time. Adia talked to the mirror baby for a little bit and then it was into the tub. She didn't want to sit up though. She kept trying to get out or grab me. I knew she needed her hair washed though so I laid her down. Then she turned into all smiles, grabbing her feet and splashing. She let me wash her and was a complete doll. I sat her back up and she immediately wanted out. I got her out and ended up making her laugh while I was lotioning her.

The second we walked out of the bathroom, Scott called. He wanted us to pick him up from work. I made Adia a bottle, just in case she wanted it on the way back, and packed us into the car. She fussed a bit on the way, but only really started screaming once we parked. At that time she's normally snuggled in my arms, falling asleep. She seemed really confused. On the way back to the house, Scott drove and I tried to get Adia to eat. She refused, but didn't fuss all the way back. When we got back, we did snuggle on the couch. She only drank two ounces before falling asleep. She was in her crib by 8:30.

I'm a little worried because she hasn't really been eating lately. I think she had a total of 15oz today along with her sweet potatoes. Maybe I need to start feeding her solids 2-3 times a day. I tried breakfast today, but that was a disaster. Hopefully she'll start eating more again soon.
