After changing her diaper, she went into her jumperoo. She was having a blast. She was also working on something. Not only could you hear the straining, but the explosion. I was not looking forward to changing her and it was bad. It was a stinky two diaper, diaper change. It hadn't gotten on her pjs, until I tried to change her. Of course it ended up everywhere and she kept trying to get her hands in it. After I had cleaned her off, gotten the soiled pjs out from under her and had a new diaper on her, I got her giggling. She was in such a wonderful mood. Big smile and an actual giggle.
I took her to the bathroom to dress her for our walk. She freaked when she saw the mirror baby and started babbling like crazy. I put her in the long sleeved onesie that I bought last October. I still remember getting it. We went to Old Navy after the pumpkin patch. I was just starting to show, but still didn't know whether we were having a boy or girl. I saw a gray, long sleeved onesie that said "Mommy's little" with a picture of a little devil below it. I HAD to have it, but I totally had to guess on a size. How would I know what size my baby would be wearing at this time next year? I took a wild guess and got 3-6 months. Well, I guessed right. It's still a little long on her so it will probably fit next month. She's also wearing a pair of jeans that actually have a button. There's no zipper, but there is a button. I got those right after finding out we were having a girl. They came with the cutest Care Bear sweater that she'd still swim in if she tried wearing it. She's tiny when it comes to onesies, sweaters and shirts, but her legs are so long, she has to wear 6-9 month pants. She also needed shoes and socks to keep her toesies warm. I slid on her socks and then her pink fuzzy uggs that my mom gave me after Tanae wore them once and outgrew them. Adia may only get to wear them once or twice too because they fit almost perfectly right now. Then came her blue sweatshirt. We've had that since mother's day. She wore it when we went to Yachats and it was HUGE. I thought I had picked up a 3 month one, but it was a 6 months. No problem, it's just now starting to fit, but it's still pretty big.

Before and after
Half way through our walk, she started to fuss. I thought I was going to end up with a full screaming, but she quieted and fell asleep. She's been fussing lately before falling asleep. She slept all the way until I got to our steps. Then she opened her big eyes and smiled. I picked her up, stroller and all, and carried her up the stairs. The whole time she was snuggling up against me and holding onto me. It was really sweet.
We got back inside and I took off her sweatshirt and shoes. Then it was time for my shower. She babbled through the whole shower and only complained once I was all dressed. I brought her back out to the living room and set her on the ground with her toys while I made myself breakfast and her a bottle. She was perfectly happy playing, until she got excited to see me and fell backwards. I picked her up and we got comfy on the couch. She acted like she still wanted to play until I showed her the bottle. Her eyes got huge and she grabbed for it. It was obvious that was what she wanted. She finished the 4oz, but didn't fall asleep, she wanted to play instead. After only sitting on the floor for a few minutes, she burped and puked on her pants. At least she missed the blanket this time. That thing's tough to wash.
We woke Scott up and Adia was very happy to see him. They played on the floor for a little while, but she soon got hungry. He fed her as she dozed on his lap. When she woke up, she wanted to play more. She was all smiles. She played sitting on the floor and when she fell over, she rolled back and forth. Eventually she got mad that she couldn't sit back up though so back into the sitting position she went.

After awhile we went to the store. Adia was very bright eyed and wiggling like crazy. She made it really hard to hold onto her. After the store, we took Scott to work. It was supposed to be his day off. Adia was playing with him in the backseat and really happy. Then he got out of the car and it all changed. She started saying, "dadada" and then the crying started. She cried most of the way back, but then got silent. As usual, she fell asleep. I woke her up when I got out of the car though. I always feel so bad when that happens. She started crying and clinging to me tightly once I got in the door. I gave her a bottle, but she wouldn't go back to sleep.

How I found her when I opened the back door
She played on the floor for almost a hour before dinner. She was perfectly happy. She started to get fussy at 6 though. I picked her up, stripped her down to her diaper and strapped her into her high chair. When she saw me making her food, she got excited. I thought we'd try some peaches tonight, along with her sweet potatoes. She was opening her mouth huge for the spoon until she got a mouthful of peaches. She made the worst face and took another bite, but that was it. She ended up eating the rest of her sweet potatoes, but only after I took her out of the high chair and sat her in my lap to calm her. She was crying with tears streaming down her face. It was hard to convince her to open her mouth again. She also drank water out of her cup, but didn't want much to do with that either.

those are peaches
After cleaning up, while holding her, we headed to the bathroom. She cried when I put her in the bebe pod. She cried when I got the tub ready. She basically cried if she wasn't attached to me in some way. She ended up having the shortest bath in history. I basically got her in the tub, rinsed her and she wanted out. She sat in my lap, bundled in her hooded towel, while I drained the tub. Then I set her on the counter to talk to the mirror baby. She started smiling and babbling, then would look up at me to make sure I was still watching her. While I was lotioning her though, I got her giggling. She was giggling like crazy with a big goofy grin on her face. I dressed her and picked her up. She proceeded to wrap her arms around my neck and refuse to let go.

happy for the moment
I made her a bottle and snuggled up with her on the couch. She was asleep before she'd even finished 2oz. I laid her down in her crib and before I'd even left the room, she whimpered. In that short amount of time, she'd flipped onto her tummy, woke up and realized she couldn't get back. I picked her up, burped her (just in case that was more of the problem) and then rocked her a bit. I laid her back down, drowsy, but not actually asleep. She didn't fuss or complain, so I'm guessing she's asleep.

WOW! I can definitely tell you are a momma to 1! I can't imagine having that much free time to write sooo much! Very cool though, Crysi, don't take me wrong. It's cool to be able to see/read about how she is doing and how she's growing. My kidlets are now 2yrs 2 mo's old, and 10 mo's old! 25 and 15lbs respectively. They really grow up quick! Have you thought about teaching Adia baby sing language? I highly encourage it! They usually dont start using it until about 9 months when their fine motor skills are getting more honed, but it's EXTREMELY helpful when they can start telling you what they want when they can't talk clearly! Kayla is using it all of a sudden and very deliberately for "more" and "milk." She's finally saying Momma too! Abby knows her ABC's!! OOh, gotta go, they're awake. Talk to ya soon!
