It was an absolutely horrible night last night. We had hopes that she would sleep straight through in her crib, but she woke up at 1am. I gave her 4oz and she fell back to sleep. I thought for sure that she was out, so I put her back in her crib. She woke up 10 minutes later. When I picked her up, she relaxed. I once again thought she was going back to sleep, but the second I laid down in bed with her, she started babbling at the top of her lungs. I was glad Scott didn't have to work because no one could sleep through that. I tried to get her back to sleep, but I wasn't having any luck. Eventually I just set her back in her crib because she was kicking and punching. She cried for the next 10 minutes. Scott got up with her this time and changed her. Then he took her out to he living room and made her another bottle. She drank another 4 and fell asleep. They slept in the living room until Adia woke up at 7.

Scott let me continue sleeping, even through the total blow out. When I got up Adia was asleep on the floor, propped in Scott's legs. She looked so peaceful. It ended up being a 2 hour nap. She got the biggest grin on her face when she saw me. Then it was all outstretched arms for Mommy. I got her dressed and we got ready to run a bunch of errands.

We went to Walmart first, but they didn't have what we were looking for. Then it was Costco for formula. Adia rode in the Kozy and loved it. She's fascinated with the buttons on my sweater. I'm really worried she's going to pop one off and choke on it. Every time I hid it, she'd find it. We picked out some Christmas presents and then headed to our next stop.

We decided to have lunch at PF Changs. Adia started off in the high chair with no problems. She gladly ate puffs and the table edge. I even remembered a sippy cup for her. Everything was great until she choked on a puff. I gagged when I went in to retrieve it and she ended up puking a little. She was not happy after that and wanted nothing to do with the puffs or the high chair. Her new spot was Mommy's lap. She soon wanted a bottle. After drinking just a few ounces, she fell asleep in my arms. She slept through the rest of the meal. She was a happy girl when it was time to leave and she woke up.

Our next stop was Borders and Old Navy. Adia went back in the Kozy. While in Borders Adia saw a book she wanted. It was shaped like a turkey and all the tail feathers were metallic and fabric. She started babbling at it. When I picked it up and handed it to her, she smiled huge and started chomping on it. We definitely had to get it for her. Then it was a quick stop at Old Navy for a birthday gift. Adia just stared at everything. Our last stop was the post office. Adia started babbling at everyone and everything. I sat her on the counter and she used her hand to smear drool all over it. Then it was back in the car to go home.

Adia was happy to be home. I put her in the Kozy to pay rent. We took a very short stroll and checked out the playground. Then it was back to the house. Adia played with Scott while I cleaned her room and packed up the stuff she's grown out of. I can't believe how much stuff she has!

It was dinnertime by the time I was done. Adia started screaming "MaMa!" when she saw me. I stripped her down and plopped her in the high chair. She had puffs, YoBaby, sweet potatoes and a biter biscuit for dinner. She was eating like a pro and really surprised me. It's been a few weeks since she's eaten like that. She was also in a very good mood. She kept laughing at Scott and squealing in delight.

Her bath was also a blast. I was in the tub with her and she took full advantage of it. We were splashing up a storm and going absolutely crazy. She soaked Scott and he said we needed a splash zone warning. We had so much fun and she got thoroughly cleaned. She was all giggles with Bob and was even smiling when Scott put her diaper on. I managed to get a hilarious picture of Adia. Scott and I were laughing so hard that he had to bring her into the living room to dress her. She just watched us with a confused look on her face.

I made her a bottle and hoped she would take it. Of course she refused and wanted to play instead. Scott had to go to bed to get up early tomorrow and she was wide awake. I set her in the middle of the floor so I could hopefully clean up a bit. I went into the kitchen to throw some trash away and when I came back, she was in the middle of a pile of hangers. She seems to have reached the baby teleporting stage and is definitely mobile. She was perfectly happy exploring the living room so I took the time to fold laundry. When I was finished she started to get fussy. By then she was in a completely different spot again. I picked her up, snuggled her and gave her a bottle. She promptly passed out in my arms. Now she's asleep in her crib, hopefully for most of the night.

You can bet I didn't leave her here.

Or here.
