Adia's night was better, but not great. I'll take what I can get though. She woke at 4am so I made her a bottle and brought her to bed with me. She woke up just before 7 for the day. She played on the floor for a long time. At one point I was typing on the laptop and she wiggled over and bit my toe! She is definitely my little gremlin. She had a huge grin on her face when she did it. We took a short nap together after that. It was nice, but I was still tired. I then took a shower and put Adia in the bouncy seat. Once again, she was fine until I started getting dressed. Then she turned into a screaming banshee.

It was then breakfast time. Adia happily ate cheerios while I made myself something to eat. She was doing fine and then choked and gagged. Her eyes were all teary and her face turned red. It was scary, but then she went back to eating like nothing happened. When she did it the second time, her breakfast was over.

I cleaned her up and got her dressed. She fought it, like always, but then started playing. She was all over the living room while I folded laundry. She eventually ended up near her toy basket. In one movement, she pulled herself up and just looked at me in shock. She seems so surprised when she does anything like that. Then she sat back down and did it again. Up and down and up and down. It was really funny to watch.

When she got tired of that, she came over to me and started jumping. I had just moved her jumperoo from one side of the living room to the other. I set her in it and she went crazy. I think she liked the new location. Hopefully when it comes closer to Christmastime I can put the tree in front of the window where the jumperoo used to be. She jumped long enough for me to put all the laundry away. When I finished, Adia wanted food and a nap. I gave her a bottle and she fell asleep for over a hour.

When she woke up, she wanted to play. We got down on the floor and I read her a couple books. She even grabbed them and handed them to me. She pointed at the pictures in the book and babbled. She helped me turn pages too. Eventually she got bored with the books and we played with some of her other toys. I had put Evita on by then and Adia got the biggest grins on her face when I'd sing the lyrics. She really loves music. I wanted to listen to one of her sing-a-long cds, but I couldn't get the stereo to work.

Scott soon came home. Adia was so excited to see him. She went nuts and tried to crawl to him. While he played with her, I made dinner. While I was cooking, Scott came into the kitchen with Adia. She was walking while he held her hands. She's getting really good at it and fights holding on. She squealed and smiled when she saw me. While the pizza was cooking, I went into the living room so Scott could take out the trash. Adia pulled herself up on the Winnie the Pooh bench and then cruised along it. She really looked proud of herself. When Scott got back, he watched her again. They came back out into the kitchen and when Adia saw her high chair, she tried to climb in it. We figured she wanted dinner so he strapped her in.

She ate cheerios and mozzarella while I dished out dinner and grabbed her yogurt. She was doing really well until she choked on a cheerio again. She gagged and promptly puked up everything she'd just eaten. She looked so upset and was definitely still hungry. I fed her yogurt and cheese, but no more cheerios. When she was done, Scott took her into the bathroom while I cleaned up the high chair. I had to remove the straps and scrub them again.

Adia's bath was the shortest one on record. She got in, she got out. I don't know what was wrong, but she did not want a bath. Scott dressed her and brought her to the living room. Once she started the bottle, she was out. I guess she was just exhausted. I really don't think she's out for the night, but we can hope, right?
