We played for a little bit on the floor. Then I got my stuff ready for a shower. Adia sat in the bouncy seat while I showered. She complained only when I got out and was getting dressed. I really don't understand why that happens every time. She screamed and screamed so I made her bottle. She grabbed it, laid back on the pillows and fell asleep. She napped for almost two hours! She woke with a smile too. By then it was time to meet my friend and her daughters.
Adia was all smiles at the restaurant. We were a sight to see. Three parents and 5 children. Adia was so excited to see so many babies. She sat in my lap because they were out of high chairs, but I doubt she would have lasted in a high chair anyway. She ate cheerios at first, but also had her first cracker. She loved it.
After lunch we headed to the mall. We checked out the pet store while my friend was running an errand. I knew Adia loved animals, but I had no idea she loved them that much. She was grinning at the birds, fascinated by the fish, but it was the rodents that really caught her eye. She didn't want to leave the mice behind. She just stood there, squealing and grinning while holding onto the little ledge. I bet she could have done that all day and been perfectly happy.

We then walked around the mall and window shopped. Adia was in the Kozy. She was being so goofy. She would bend all the way back while sucking on her thumb. She watched everyone and everything. She mostly wanted to play with my friend's youngest daughter who's only 4 months older. I'm not sure she knew what to think of Adia. She did smile at her though.
Adia and I made one last stop at Walmart. She fell asleep on the ride there and I sat in the parking lot for over 30 minutes while she slept. Once again, she woke up with a smile, but wasn't happy when I changed her diaper. I sat her in the cart and she was kicking her feet and squealing. She loved it. Every other kid we saw in the store smiled at her, some even asked me if they could play with her. It was so funny. Adia got two new pairs of shoes and a Santa hat. I'll have to take some Christmassy pictures tomorrow. She only complained when we were in the check out line, which was a mile long. On a plus side, I finished all my Christmas shopping. All Scott and I want to buy now are some Christmas decorations. This will be our first year with a tree and stockings.
Adia was excited to see Scott. They played in the living room while I made dinner. Adia was so goofy during dinner. She had graham crackers for the first time. I think we've found her new favorite food. I gave her the little rectangle pieces and she munched and sucked on them until she'd finished them. When she had finished the whole cracker, she started licking her fingers. She made a huge mess, but I was expecting that. She also had yogurt. Then I gave her a tiny bite of chocolate pudding. She was confused by it, but then licked her lips. Scott started making funny noises and ended up with Adia in hysterics. She just kept doing it and it continued even after I took out the camera.

Bathtime wasn't so good though. I noticed she's starting to get cradle cap again since I've been a little lax on using Head and Shoulders. I washed her hair tonight and she was NOT happy about it. Scott soon rescued her and they started playing again. She had to take a break though because she thoroughly filled her diaper. I could smell it from the other side of the room. Scott cleaned her up and brought her back. Within no time they were curled up together and both asleep. Adia loves her daddy!
Scott said he'll take her tonight if she won't stay asleep. He knows I need a little break and some sleep.
