ugh

I'm not sure what I was thinking, but since it wasn't raining and I knew Adia wanted to go outside, I decided we should go for a walk. We woke Daddy up because there's no way I could get the stroller up and down the stairs.

Adia was so excited when we put her shoes and socks on and strapped her in. She was wearing her brown track suit which I bought her over a year ago and the pants are still too big! She's just too skinny. We made it to the bike path before Adia wanted to walk. I figured it would get rid of some of her extra energy so we let her. She pointed at all the birds and flowers and said hi to a couple bike riders. I picked a dandelion for her. While reading "Sammy the Classroom Guinea Pig" it talks about how guinea pigs love dandelions. I just had to show her what one really is. She carried it for the longest time before setting it in the stroller for safe keeping.

She walked most of the way and whenever a hill appeared, she wanted to climb up it and run down it. She'd count "1, 3, 4, 6, 8, go, set!" and then run. She thought it was the best game ever and she did it over and over again.

Adia picked up a few leaves and then wanted back in the stroller. She really wanted me to carry her because she was tired, but I was tired too. There was just no way I could and she wanted nothing to do with Daddy. I convinced her to get back in the stroller and I pushed her the rest of the way.

What used to always be a 45 minute walk ended up being 2 hours instead. That's how slow Adia and I walk now. We were both exhausted. She's in bed now and I'll be following her soon. I think I definitely overdid it.
