Baby, Baby, Baby

We went swimming last night. Adia loved it. She had Gramma, DiDi and Daddy. Her first stop was the water slide. Daddy and Adia went on it over and over again. Daddy said that by the time she was halfway down, she was already saying, "Again!" She played in the waves and the kiddie pool. We usually go in the kiddie pool because it's so warm and Adia gets so cold her lips turn purple. We did eventually get her in the big pool and floated around. I then got her to jump in from the side. She really enjoyed that too and she did it multiple times.

When we got home, we went right to bed. I had to read a million books to her, but she finally fell asleep. She slept in her bed 10-6:40. I was up every 2 hours to pee and I heard her around 4am. I thought she was awake, but since she hadn't called for me, I thought she might also be talking in her sleep. It was confirmed when I heard her yell, "Again! Again! Again!" I have a feeling that she was dreaming about water slides. She did call for me at 6:40, but only because she wanted to pee. She was dry all night and when she did pee, it was a lake in her potty. Who would have thought that she'd be easier to potty train at night than during the day.

We had another ultrasound today. I told Adia when we got up that Mommy had to jump in the shower to get ready to go see the babies. She immediately ran for the door and said, "We go!" She was so excited to see her babies. She's been especially sweet to my belly lately. Yesterday I was sitting in the kitchen and Adia ordered me to lift my shirt so she could see my belly. She started hugging and kissing me stomach with the occasional belly blow. She also likes to "pop" my belly button, but she's getting frustrated that my belly button isn't so big anymore. I tried to get her talking on video, but she wouldn't let me. She was singing, "Loves you Mommy. Loves you babies." It's the sweetest song she sings.

Adia knew where we were going today once we parked. She loves walking over the skybridge because of all the windows. She colored while we waiting and made Daddy draw a picture of "Bobby." He's her imaginary friend.

Our ultrasound was good. Both babies are measuring 13 oz with one baby a day behind the other. They're within 2 days of their gestational age though, which is awesome. When we got there, both were also transverse, stacked head to head. They actually looked like they were kissing. Baby B was in the funniest position, with her feet up by her head.

Adia liked listening to the heartbeats. She kept yelling, "Again!" She wasn't a fan of the 3d pictures either, but did like seeing her sisters. Since the babies weren't in the best positions to see everything they wanted to see, the tech tilted me back so I was nearly standing on my head. It wasn't the most comfortable position, but the babies instantly moved. They went from transverse to vertex, still spooning each other. I guess I'll be spending time on my head every day in hopes they'll get stuck in the vertex position.

We have to go back in another 4 weeks to check their hearts again. They weren't able to get the best pictures so they want to try again.

Aww, I can tell from the pictures how much she loves her sisters.

And how beautiful they are looking, too! I love that they looked like they were kissing. :)
