Grandma Grandma

Sunday was fun for Adia. She got to spend time with both her grandmas. DiDi was still here until just after noon. Scott took me to breakfast and she sidetracked Adia by walking around outside and playing with her farm. When Scott and I came back, the whole living room was picked up because DiDi couldn't find the farmer. Once she did find him, Adia ran off with him and now the farmer's missing again. I have (more like had) a clean living room though.

We took Adia on a couple adventures too. DiDi needed to get her car washed so Adia experienced her first trip through the car wash. I thought she was going to start crying, but she just held my finger in a vice grip until it was over.

After the car wash, we went to Borders. Adia loves her books as much as her shoes. She proved it too. The second she saw all the books, her eyes lit up and she said, "Books!" She kept trying to grab them all off the shelf. We made it to the children's section and she went nuts. She picked out a few books and also a small tote bag. She also made a new boyfriend. She seems to make them everywhere we go. There was only 1 little boy in the entire children's section and guess where Adia headed. She sat down right next to him. He looked a little worried until I redirected her. She was getting tired though so we had to leave.

It was way after her normal nap time so I had a very easy time getting her to sleep.
DiDi and I talked on the porch while Adia slept for awhile before she left. Gamma showed up just minutes before Adia woke up.

Adia was starving. She showed Gamma how she likes mac and cheese, hot dogs and pears. We then headed off to Target and the fabric store. Gamma's making Adia some Little Mermaid curtains. We ran our errands and when we got back, Scott was awake. That meant dinnertime! I made Adia a grilled cheese sandwich to take with us. That way Scott could pick anywhere and she's have something to eat. I also grabbed a fruit cup.

Scott picked PF Changs. Very yummy, but nothing Adia can or would eat. (They do have a gluten free menu on their website) She chowed down on her grilled cheese and made googly eyes at everyone. She made yet another boyfriend too. One of the waiters smiled at her every time he walked by. He even stopped to talk to her and told her that she was cute. She smiled shyly and totally wrapped him around her finger. She knows how to work it.

Adia was pretty beat when we made it back home. She took a quick bath and hardly made it through two stories before falling asleep. She had a pretty good night too, only waking up around 10 to let out a huge burp. She then joined me in bed at 1:30 and was up at 6. Normally I'd be dying at 6, but we had to be up by 7 anyway. Scott got his wisdom teeth removed today, but that's a whole 'nother blog.
