14 months!

Adia and I had a pretty good day today. She woke up at 7 and was so excited to see Scott on the couch. She loves it when Daddy's home, too bad he still feels horrible. We had a normal morning. Adia wandered around eating an eggo and then we took a bath together. I was trying to get her to stay in the tub as long as possible, but it didn't work. She's still covered in eczema, but it's starting to get better.

Adia ate an entire banana, one of her rice bars and a string cheese for a snack. She was starving. Then she went right to sleep. She slept for almost 2 hours and I got a small nap. Scott slept for most of the afternoon and Adia was really cranky. We had lunch. Adia was starving again and had 1/2 a cup of mac and cheese and some peaches. She shared a popsicle with me and that made her happy.

Towards evening we went to get the mail. I thought it was warmer outside. She ran around and pointed at birds. She was after the flowers again too. Then she saw a cat and started meowing.

We came back inside it was dinnertime. Adia wasn't as hungry since she'd had lots of big meals today. She did enjoy her chocolate pudding though. She was still eating it when DiDi came by. She was super excited to see her and decided DiDi was much better than pudding. I cleaned her off so she could get some snuggles in.

Her bath was probably the shortest bath ever. She was in long enough for me to wash off the pudding, but then she wanted out. She knew DiDi was here and that means some serious playtime. They played hard until 7:45, when Adia started to get tired. DiDi left while I put Adia to bed. Adia's gotten to the point where she doesn't want to be rocked to sleep. We read our books and then when I try to rock and cuddle, she tried to squirm away. She then points at her bed. She did that tonight and when I laid her down, she sighed and fell asleep. She's really growing up.
