Monkey on her back

I bought Adia one of those monkey backpack harness thingys today. Adia keeps trying to run instead of holding my hand when we're outside or in a store. One of my mommy friends showed off the one she bought her daughter so I had to copy and buy Adia one too. We tried it out when we went to get the mail. It was mostly a disaster. Adia first turned around the tried to climb the steps. After pulling her off those she ran towards the muddy, swampy grass. Of course she fell. Then every few feet she'd trip or sit down. It was like she never knew how to walk before. She also kept grabbing onto my leg or trying to hold my hand. Give her a taste of freedom and she doesn't know what to do!
