She woke up a little confused, but happy. After a diaper and clothes change, we headed outside to walk around. It was nice and sunny, but with a ice cold breeze. Adia loved it. She walked around holding my hand on one side and Scott's on the other. She was practically running. At one point she let go and I stood behind to take a picture of them. She noticed I wasn't with them, turned around and came running to me, without holding Scott's hand. She gave me a huge hug and kiss. We made a lap around the complex and then headed back in. I had to leave then to go get DiDi.

Pick up DiDi took longer than expected and we returned home over 2 hours later. Adia was happy to see me, but really excited to see DiDi. While we were gone, a package from Adia's aunt and uncle had arrived. She was playing with the giant box. We needed to go to the store though. We left DiDi resting and Scott, Adia and I made a quick trip to the store. Adia was happy to be outside. She walked around Blockbuster and Safeway and did not want to be carried. She was starting to get hungry too so we chowed down on some gluten free animal crackers together. She happily fed pieces to me while Scott drove.
I made Adia and DiDi dinner when we got back. Adia didn't want to eat much and refused the banana flavored yogurt drink. I thought it would be an excellent way to get her to drink milk from a sippy. I was wrong. Scott gave her a bath and when she got out, she noticed all the pretty wrapped presents from her aunt, uncle and cousins. I had left them out to see if she'd be interested. At first she just pounded on the box, but slowly she began to tear some of the paper away. She had half the paper torn away when she noticed she could play with the toy while it was still in the box. I had to help her tear the rest away. She went nuts! Her aunt knows how to pick the best toys. I helped her open the other two presents too. The bath toys were a hit and she loved the tags on her new outfit. I can't wait to put it on her and get pictures because it's SO cute!

Adia coslept last night because DiDi's sleeping in Adia's room. I didn't know how much I missed cuddling with her and she's only been in her bed a week. She was super snuggly though and slept until 7. Adia's first order of business was to wake up DiDi. She went running in there with a huge grin on her face. We played for a little while before breakfast. Adia's high chair has now been retired and I attached her booster to one of the chairs. She can now be pushed all the way up to the table. I think she enjoyed sitting there, but she still refused to eat very much.

She took a bath afterwards and had fun with her new bath toys. She couldn't figure out how they stuck to the walls. She managed to stick them up a few times, but mostly handed them to me. She also loves to drink bathwater. I don't know why, but she does. Now she's down for a nap. DiDi's trying to sleep too since Adia doesn't want her DiDi sleeping when there's fun to be had. Hopefully we'll get a little walk in when Adia wakes up.
