Back on the coast.

We're back on the coast. Adia's been enjoying lots of grandparent time and meeting her Great Uncle. Tonight she'll get to see her Auntie Colie, Unky Eck and her Great Grandma, Great Aunt and Colie's boyfriend. She'll definitely be excited to see them all. I just wish the circumstances were better.

Our first night back we just chilled. Adia was kinda cranky, but happy to meet her Great Uncle Ron. She had a good dinner, DiDi gave her a bath and then she slept with DiDi. I got a pretty good nights sleep because of it. Scott took her in the morning so I could sleep in and DiDi still had to work.

Yesterday was spent playing with the grandparents and mommy and daddy. She had a blast and took two naps because she was so tuckered out. She met the cat again too. She was pretty nice to Waffles, but you never know when Adia's going to suddenly pull out a chunk of hair. It's much safer for the cat to watch her from behind glass.

She ate a good dinner and then played with Gampa and Uncle Ron. We thought for sure that she was going to start walking on the counter, but she didn't.

We headed back to DiDi's house and left Adia with her. She gave Adia a bath, while we had some time out at the casino. Adia was worn out from her long day and DiDi was grateful. After the bath, she made a bottle and they headed to bed. They both slept all night. DiDi handed her off to us when it was time for her to go to work. Adia slept until 8, when she sat straight up in bed, smiled huge and poked Scott in the nose. It wasn't the nicest wake up call for him, but she was ecstatic to see him.

After breakfast, Adia and I took a shower together. Then we headed over to school to bring DiDi a blanket. Adia got to visit some teachers. She was a little worried I might leave her, but was very happy to see her DiDi. After we went back to DiDi's house, I called Tanae's mom and asked if we could watch Tanae. She dropped Tanae off and now we're at Gamma and Gampa's house.

Tanae and Adia are very funny together. We tried to feed them a snack, but it was a disaster. Much more food on the ground than in. Adia and Tanae were funny every time someone dropped something on the floor though. Both girls got tired though, and Adia was very cranky. I tried holding them both on the couch, but Adia wouldn't stop kicking Tanae. No matter how I moved Adia, she'd wiggle around just so she could kick Tanae. I eventually handed Adia off to Scott and took Tanae into the bedroom. After much negotiation and snuggles, Tanae fell asleep. When I went back to the living room, Adia was asleep on Scott. It didn't last long though. Adia soon woke up and was very very cranky! Uncle Ron tried to make her happy, and it worked for a little bit, but soon all she wanted was Mommy.

Tomorrow is Opa's Celebration of Life. Adia will get to see even more relatives. I just hope she's in a better mood.
