We hung around the house the rest of the day. I made gluten free oatmeal cookies and they were delicious. They actually tasted just like regular oatmeal cookies and didn't disintegrate. They were a big hit with Adia and Scott. I plan on making more in the very near future. Since Daddy got up late, we had to wait until after dinner to return the movies at Blockbuster. Adia was all ready to go and bundled up warm. It's been incredibly cold at night, below freezing last night. Adia wasn't so happy to be in the car, but ran around like a maniac in the store. She likes to hold the movie once we've picked on. It's a disaster to go down the kid aisle though. She recognizes all the cartoons.
We came home and Adia soon went to bed. She was a tired girl. Her first words when she woke up were, "DiDi soon?" I had been telling her all week that DiDi would visit on Saturday. She knew when DiDi got here before I did. She yelled DiDi while running for the door. Her face lit up when I opened the door and DiDi was standing there. We then went on a wild goose chase looking for Pampers Easy Ups and Huggies Extra Sensitive Wipes. We went to Target first because I'd seen the giant boxes of Easy Ups there before. They were sold out! They did have the wipes, but we didn't buy them because we thought we could get both at Walmart. We were wrong. Walmart didn't even have the Easy Ups and they were sold out of the wipes! They were also sold out of the socks we were looking for. Our last stop was Fred Meyer. They too were sold out of the wipes and they didn't have the big box of Easy Ups. I bought what they did have because we needed more Easy Ups. I'll have to keep checking for wipes though.

We had lunch when we got back to the house and then I had to leave for a party. I left Adia with DiDi and she was perfectly happy. I came home to a sleeping Adia. I felt bad that I had to wake her for dinner, but it was almost 7 already. Adia's still happy to have her DiDi and she's still up. Her nap was so late that I doubt she'll go to bed earlier than 10 or 10:30.
