Mischief and Mayhem Always Follow Trouble

We had an insanely warm day yesterday so Adia and I did some shopping. Beside shoes, Adia loves books. She threw a tantrum in Borders because we were only walking through and not shopping. She kept lunging at books. Despite her tantrum, I was able to buy a few items for myself at Old Navy and Ross. Adia liked Ross because they have a large shoe section with lots of colorful shoes.

When we got home, Scott was awake. She was happy to see him while I tried on my new clothes. A couple items I will be returning, but I actually found a dress that fits and I like. Adia liked it too. I changed Adia into her new dress and the three of us went to get the mail. Since Adia was all in white, she headed directly for the mud. That's my girl!

Gamma made a quick visit and then we headed our to dinner. We had Chinese, which isn't the best food for Adia. I tried keeping her happy with the food I brought with us, but she kept reaching and yelling "Mom mom mom!" at the bbq pork. I was hesitant to give her some, but I finally did. She loved it and as off today, she hasn't had any problem with it.


When we got home, Adia wanted to get right into the bathtub. She took her bath and then was a total wild child. She did not want to go to bed. She just wanted to take out all her toys and play. I eventually did get her to bed though. She woke up at 11 and spent the rest of the night in bed with me. She was up for the day at 7 and is already napping! Today we're headed to visit Auntie Colie. It should be a fun day since the weather's supposed to be good and there's a great park in Corvallis.
