Corvallis and Feeding Ducks

We had a fun time in Corvallis with Auntie Colie. We walked around downtown before eating some pizza and getting gelato. The gelato was excellent and most definitely Adia favorite thing. Had her own spoon and ate my pina colada and Colie's honey gelato. She was in heaven and very silly. While walking down the street, we heard an accordian playing. Adia would take a few steps, pause and start dancing. Then it was a few more steps before she'd dance again. She had us in hysterics.

After eating, we went to the park. It was an insanely hot day in Corvallis so we didn't last long at the park. Adia had fun swinging and playing with Colie. She also got to meet Colie's friend for the first time. Since there was hardly any shade at that park, we headed to a different one that is generally more shaded.

The other park didn't have as much baby play equipment though. She did like swinging with Auntie Colie, but I think the heat was getting to her too. She started to seem really lethargic and wanted me to pick her up. When I did pick her up, she'd lay her head on my shoulder. We decided it was time to go and I handed Adia her sippy cup when we got back to the car. She guzzled and guzzled water. We then dropped Colie off before heading home. Adia slept almost the entire way back.

Adia had a rough night last night and we took a nap this morning on the couch. It totally threw off her schedule though. We went to the store and she hammed it up, but when we got back she was getting cranky and tired. She wouldn't nap though! When she finally woke Scott up with her screaming, we went to feed the ducks. We only found two ducks though and a ton of Canadian geese. Adia liked watching them, but I had to hold her to keep the geese from attacking.

Adia didn't want to leave, but started falling asleep in the car. She ran around when we got home and then demanded dinner. She wasn't too interested in eating, but was happy when I brought out the chocolate pudding. It looks like it's going to be an early night tonight too.
