Before going to bed on Monday night, Adia had fun climbing in and out of a shoe box. We have empty boxes all over our house because Adia loves playing with them so much. She puts toys in them, takes them back out, stacks boxes, puts boxes inside each other and has started climbing in them too.

Adia had another fun day with Mommy and Daddy on Tuesday. We went to lunch at the Mexican restaurant down the street. Adia ate her string cheese and crackers, but wasn't a fan of the chips or chicken. When we got home, Scott helped her climb the steps. You could see how proud she was of herself. I wish I could have gotten a picture of her putting her face against the slats. It was really funny since she was also sticking her tongue out.

Her nails were also getting long so it was a mani/pedi day. The polish on her toenails has already been worn off so I repainted them as well. After cutting her fingernails, I filed them down. Adia loved it. I also trimmed her toenails and filed them before painting. Adia took the nail file and tried to file her own nails. It was only a problem when she tried to file her toenails while they were still wet. After they were dry, she took off, nail file in hand. She walked around the living room, continuing to file her nails.

Scott got her to sleep last night and she woke up at 12, crying and writhing in pain. I thought she had to burp, but nothing would come out. She just kept writing and whimpering. After 10 minutes, I checked her diaper and she had pooped. As I expected, it wasn't a normal poop, but a liquid acid one. She had burned diaper area again. Scott and I are guessing she found something containing wheat on the floor and ate it. Her butt is still burned today. She hasn't enjoyed diaper changes, but we're aggressively treating it with a combination of anti fungal, desitin and rinsed out wipes. Hopefully it goes away soon.
