The twins weren't so sure about the water. Mira enjoys baths a ton so she was much happier in the water. Leia never cried, but she didn't smile either. I don't think she knew what to make of it. We were in the water for almost 90 minutes. My lens fogged up so the pictures in the beginning were foggy. Luckily, it defrosted and I was able to get some good pics.
For the first time, Adia acted horribly jealous. I've never seen her like that. She wasn't even like that when we first brought the twins home. She kept trying to splash them and get in trouble. She even sat and pouted for the longest time. I'm guessing she thinks the pool is "her turf", but after some one on one time with mommy and then with Papa, she was better. I took Adia in the deep, big pool and we swam around a bit. Then she jumped from the side a whole bunch. She did it without me holding her, which is a big change. She never went under either.
Adia let us know it was time to leave. She was up bright and early, hadn't napped and was exhausted. She timed it perfectly because the twins had decided it was time to go too.
Getting dressed was a lot harder than putting swim suits on. I took Adia in the shower first, while Gramma held both babies (32 lbs worth). Adia tried to make a run for it when I went to wash her hair. Then I took one baby while Gramma took Adia over to sit on the bench. Adia sat their patiently while Gramma and I traded babies. I felt so bad for Adia because as she was sitting there on her towel, she peed! She let us know and Gramma took her over to shower off again. At least we know she didn't pee in the pool. It's her first accident in at least a week and she's been sleeping without a pull up that entire time. Adia dressed herself, only needing help with strapping her shoes. She even put her socks on by herself! I was so proud of her. The twins were screaming by this point because Mira needed her zantac and Leia was starving. Adia fell asleep on the ride home, even though we had promised a chocolate sundae from DQ. I guess we'll do that today.
Leia's almost sitting now. She still arches her back and is constant motion so she falls a lot. Mira's drooling up a storm.
And my favorite:

I love how independent Adia is!!! Way to go raising an independent little lady :) Ethan is 5 and obviously gets himself dressed except he won't put on socks/shoes. I do it for him just so we can get out the door because he will fight me tooth and nail...ughghghg....
