2010

I was going to do a year in review or resolutions or something, but yeah, with 3 under 3, I'm lucky I can even turn my computer on. The twins will be 6 months tomorrow and it's supposed to get "easier". From what I've seen lately, it's gotten tougher. They're more demanding because they want to play and they're BOTH teething, so they're not sleeping well anymore. Throw in a demanding toddler who needs attention too and Mommy's pretty worn out. DiDi had to go back to school too, so it's been rough adjusting back to normal. Adia cries several times a day that she wants DiDi and wants to go to DiDi's house. It breaks my heart because I know she loves DiDi, but DiDi's just not home. She also likes the quiet time she can have there.

On a big positive, I can say that Adia's pretty much potty trained. She hasn't had an accident in at least a week and she's been sleeping in underwear for the last few days. I probably just jinxed myself though.

The twins have been eating solids. Mira now enjoys sweet potatoes, applesauce and bananas. Leia's not a huge fan of solids yet, but she does like applesauce. I haven't had a chance to try bananas on her. We've also pulled out a sippy cup for them to play with. I was originally trying to get some apple juice in Mira because she gets painfully constipated. They can drink out of them, but they just spit it back out.

As for teething, Mira's getting her top left canine first. That surprised me, but I can see and feel the very tip through the gums. I can't tell which tooth Leia's getting first, but I think it's one of the bottom ones. Both of them are chewing on everything and drooling like crazy. Mira can soak a onesie in 10 minutes flat.

Mira just started sitting unassisted yesterday. She's still a little wobbly, but she's already improving. Leia won't stop arching her back.

Adia thought Mira sitting up was awesome. They sat and played with the star stacker for ages. She'd put it together and then help Mira take it apart again, handing her pieces. She shared really well with Mira. Leia watched from the jumperoo, giggling at the two.
