Merry Christmas!

Adia continues to be very mommy oriented today, but eventually settled with DiDi so I could take a shower. I took her dollhouse out of the box and discovered I had to attach ALL the stickers. That took some time and we definitely need to buy a Costco size box of batteries.







She got really excited when Scott got home. She gave the biggest smiles and even waved. She started officially waving yesterday. It's so cute because she gets so into it that it's like her whole body waves.

It was a rough night. She just kept crying and whining over everything. DiDi tried sleeping with her, but it didn't work and around midnight, I got her back. We slept off and on until I had to get up at 7am to get ready for my dentist appointment.

Adia stayed with Scott and DiDi while I got my teeth drilled. Then it was Scott's turn and Adia was happy to see me. Adia developed a nasty cough though and kept crying inconsolably so I made her a doctor's appointment. It was obvious that she wasn't feeling well because she was clinging to me, wrapped in a blanket when the doctor came in. She no longer had a fever and there's no ear infection yet so there was nothing her doctor could do. We're just supposed to keep giving her Tylenol and hope she gets better soon.

Now we're in Florence. Adia was very happy to see her Gamma and Gampa G and her Auntie Colie and Unky Eck. We'll be opening more presents tonight. Maybe she'll have better luck tearing the paper off of these.
