The twins woke up after about an hour. They loved playing, especially the swings. Then they played in the mud. Leia actually didn't eat any and Mira wasn't too messy until she fell over and landed in a puddle. She was soaked!

The girls stayed awake the entire way, but Adia fell asleep just before getting to Gramma and Papa's house. Mira went crazy when we pulled into the driveway, yelling "Papa" and squealing. She knew exactly where she was. They played hard, had a good dinner and it was time for baths. Mira's still not so sure about the bathtub, but Leia and Adia had fun.

The girls played hard after their bath and were intent on destroying the living room. They discovered new places to climb and Leia tried to reach the TV by climbing in the toy bucket. Papa emptied the toy bucket in hopes to deterring her climbing, but that didn't work. They went for the DVD player, VCR and satellite box instead. Papa sidetracked them with the toy tub instead. He tried to swing them around in it like he did with Adia at the same age, but the twins weigh more than her. When Papa stopped swining them, Adia pushed Mira around a bit and then Mira attempted to push Adia.

We were up early the next morning. Papa made a big breakfast and then we headed to the beach. It was horribly windy though so we didn't stay long. Adia, Gramma and I did collect some shells and one nice sized agate, but that was about it. It was just too cold and windy. The fog soon rolled in too.

We met DiDi for lunch and then headed back to the house. Adia planted flowers with Gramma and I accidentally fell asleep on the floor. It was nice to get a short nap. Leia was sleeping too. Daddy and I then took some time for ourselves, but no movies were playing and we weren't hungry after our big lunch. When we came home, Papa had devised a new way to play with the twins. He had been pushing them around the house in the cart, but that's back breaking so he switched to pulling them. They loved it. Apparently that's all he did the whole time we were gone. They'd take turns getting a ride while the other one chased. Adia played along too.

The girls didn't want to leave when it was time to go. Mira and Leia crashed hard and Adia chose to go home with DiDi. It was her last chance to stay with DiDi before DiDi went back to work. Adia was heartbroken tonight when she couldn't stay with her again. It's going to be rough on all of us, but there's no choice. At least Adia will be in preschool soon.
