When school ended, we headed to beach. It was great weather and the girls had a blast. Too bad Mira fell in, again. Leia was being super snugly.

We then headed back to Gramma and Papa's house for dinner. Leia discovered the piano. In true Leia fashion, she didn't pound the keys, but gently played it. She's a musical girl through and through.

We went to Old Town before we left the next day. We wandered around, got ice cream, some candy and looked at the boats. It was insanely windy so the girls didn't like it too much, but we did see several sea lions.

Since DiDi's on summer vacation, the girls have been spending tons of time with her. They get so excited when I ask if they want to go to DiDi's house.

Last Wednesday, we also went swimming. Gramma and Papa came up after Storytime at the library. The twins loved the water.

They all went down the water slide and for the first time ever, Adia went by herself! I was so proud of her. She didn't even complain when she went under water at the end. She also came off sideways, almost backward, because she's so tiny. She was spinning on the slide.

After swimming we headed out to eat. It was a late Father's Day celebration. The twins didn't even make it 5 minutes in the car. They woke up before we got our food and Mira cried and fussed forever. It was horrible. By the way, there's a special hell for people who glare at crying babies in restaurants.

Mira's been doing really well with using the potty. She generally lets us know if she needs to go or if she's just gone. If we go to the bathroom first thing in the morning, she always pees and she's been staying mostly dry overnight too. Leia has been completely oblivious, but she has started to tell us when she's pooped.
