We were lucky and had some wonderful weather this weekend. Adia got to play outside and we went for a few walks. The twins enjoyed the sunshine too.
Adia even attempted riding her tricycle. She hasn’t been on it for quite a few months and we didn’t even know if she’d be tall enough. In fact, she’s grown so much that Daddy had to move the seat back! Adia even pedaled by herself. We were all so proud of her. Now we just need to work on steering. She has enough problems looking in front of her when she runs or walks.
Adia helped me make dinner on Saturday night. She was my official cheese sprinkler. She did a wonderful job and I almost got her to eat the finished product.
Adia surprised me on Monday by drawing a wonderful picture on the shower wall. She has bath crayons so she’s ok to draw on them, but she normally just scribbles. This time I actually had to ask Daddy if he helped her. He hadn’t helped her so we were both shocked.
After getting out of the bath, it was time to head to my dentist appointment. Adia had to come with me since her first real dentist appointment was right after mine. She insisted on taking pictures with her sisters first though.
Adia was wonderful during my cleaning. She sat and colored. She asked some questions and the hygienist gave her floss. It was soon time to head to her appointment. We were surprisingly early, but Adia was doing well. She panicked when we got in the back though. They let her look around and get used to the environment, but it wasn’t enough. When the dentist went to look in her mouth, she clamped shut. Nothing we did would make her open up. He told me not to worry about it and that we’d try again in a couple weeks.
We went home, picked up Daddy and the twins and headed to Red Robin. Mira sat in a high chair for the first time. She quickly fell asleep! I remember Adia doing the same thing at around the same age too. It was too funny.
After Red Robin, we headed to the mall. Adia really wanted to play so we let her. The place was pretty deserted so we let Adia take her sisters down the slide too. Both twins loved it. Adia was super excited too. She wanted to keep doing it, over and over again.
We walked around for a bit before going home. Adia got a caramel apple, which she enjoyed when we got home. She ate the apple along with the caramel and M&Ms. She used to always just eat the candy parts off.
