We met up with DiDi in Freddies. Adia just held on to her and wouldn't let go. We went back to DiDi's, ate dinner and Adia wanted in the bath tub. We went to bed pretty early. Normally we have some really late nights because Adia's having too much fun. Adia brushed her teeth, made faces in the mirror and then asked to watch Carebears in DiDi's room. We all piled into DiDi's bed and Adia was soon very very sleepy.

The next day DiDi took Adia to the park. The weather was so different on the coast that the slides were wet. Adia went down the slide and soaked her green pants. She wasn't very happy so they had to come back. I didn't pack Adia enough pants so she had to borrow an old pair of Tanae's. They fit her really well and she kept telling us how much she liked them. We were soon running errands around town and Adia got a new purple hat. She wore it around the house the rest of the weekend.
Adia also helped DiDi do laundry. I think she wanted her green pants back.
Daddy drove over Sunday night. Adia was so surprised to see him. She kept telling him how much she missed him and hugging on tight. DiDi had to work Monday so we went out to Gramma and Papa's for breakfast. Papa made a big breakfast and Adia helped him. She thought the apple peeler and corer was awesome. I think she ended up eating 3 apples by herself, just because she wanted to use the machine. She also ate a bunch of bacon and stole Papa's off his plate.
After Gramma got back from her doctor appointment, we went to lunch and then the beach. Adia fell asleep on the way to lunch, but she had already eaten a bunch of her french toast in the car. She woke up when Papa put her back in the car and she started asking if we were headed to the beach. She had a blast in the sand. She played in the hold that Daddy and Eck dug and then ran up and down the beach with Daddy, Eck, Gramma and Papa. I got to lay on a blanket in the sand and relax. That was nice too.
I also attempted to get some good Daddy and Adia pictures for Father's day. Adia wasn't very cooperative, but I guess they're more true to life this way.
We went back to Papa and Gramma's for dinner. Adia wanted to play soccer and draw with chalk. She just loves being outside. She also "helped" Papa make dinner.
Adia was really surprised when DiDi showed up too. It was all hugs for DiDi. We had dinner, even though Adia didn't eat much of her burger. Then it was Papa bath time. I think that's Adia's favorite part.
Adia begged to watch a movie afterward. We watched the beginning on Jungle Book before waking Daddy up to go home. He had to drive all the way back, but Adia and I stayed at DiDi's house. Amazingly, Adia didn't fall asleep in the car, but watched almost all of Toy Story before falling asleep against me.
Adia was not happy that DiDi had to work Tuesday too, but I told her we might get to meet up with her later. We walked over to the bowling alley where DiDi's class was bowling. Adia was shell shocked at first, but soon had to try it out. She didn't hit any pins, but thankfully didn't think it was soccer either. She told me she wants to bowl again soon.
We walked back with DiDi's class and then went back to DiDi's house for lunch. Adia ate 2 hotdogs and then had a freak out when I told her we had to go home. She didn't want to leave DiDi. She was fast asleep before we even made it to the highway. When we got home, the new car seat was sitting on the porch. Adia kept asking if it was for her sisters and would it be in the van. The first thing she had to do was clip her baby doll in it.
We woke Daddy up for dinner and we all headed to Olive Garden. I haven't been able to take Adia there for ages because she's gluten free. She had chicken and broccoli, but wouldn't eat anything. She was really good though.

It will no doubt be my last trip there for a long time since I found out today that I have gestational diabetes. I'm still waiting to hear from the nutritionist for an appointment. The twins look great though. They're moving like crazy and growing. I'm measuring 35 weeks right now. Last night after Adia went to bed, I painted the letters for the twin's names. They match the blankets I picked for them. It took me 2.5 hours to finish, but I knew I wouldn't get another chance.
